Keyboard
Type numeric value, then press [return] (or [enter]) .
[Copy] and [Paste] is convenience to enter same value.
(on Mac, [command]+C/[command]+V)
[ctrl]+[arrow up]/[arrow down] increase/decrease value respectively by 10 per cent of entire range.
Furthermore, [shift]+[ctrl]+[arrow up]/[arrow down] increase/decrease value respectively in finer step.
Mouse
Clicking left/right half decrease/increase value respectively.
Holding down a button in left/right half decrease/increase value respectively continuously.
Moving a mouse while holding down a button change value like a volume control.
With a wheel up/down, each pointed digit can be increased/decreased respectively.
Invalidating Keyboard Entry
To invalidate key board entry, click any space in a window.
Moving Keyboard Focus
To move keyboard focus, press [tab] key.
Specifying Time
Keyboard
Specify [hour] [minute] [second] [100th second], separating by [space] (or other puctuation) key.
If less than four values are specified, first value is used for [hour], and so on, and remainders become [0].
Mouse
Clicking [hour] [minute] [second] [100th second] each increase or decrease it.
Clicking left (ten digit)/right (one digit) half of each component decrease/increase it respectively.
Holding down a button in left (ten digit)/right (one digit) half of each component decrease/increase it respectively continuously.
Moving a mouse while holding down a button change value like a volume control.
With a wheel up/down, each pointed component can be increased/decreased respectively.
Assigning Menu Shortcut Key
Any key combination can be assigned to any menu item as short cut.
(There are some limitations.
Some menu items are already assigned fixed key combination by SynVisum and are not allowed to be assigned other key.
In addition, some fixed key combination (such as [command]+C) already assigned by SynVisum cannot be used for other menu item.)
Select [Set Shortcut Key…] from a menu.
Mac OSX
Windows
Select a menu item to which assign key combination.
Enter key combination.
To remove shortcut key, press [Set] button without typing any key.
Only alphabet, numeric and punctuation key can be used.
On Mac OSX
Either combination of [control] [option] or [command] key is required.
[shift] key can be used togather。
On Windows
Either combination of [Ctrl] or [Alt] key is required.
[shift] key can be used togather。
Note: Some key combinations are already used by system.
Also, SynVisum may use other key combinations in the future.
View Preferences
Fonts can be specified for display.
Select "View Preferences" menu (see above).
Font usage is classified roughly into some groups as below (there are exceptions).
Normal
Used for buttons and message text.
Input
Used for text input, such as names.
Small
Used for small size text to save space.
Fixed Width
Used for numerical input.
Click a font setting, then system provided Font selector window will appear.
To use a font recommended by system, press [delete] (backspace) key (make it blank).
(for Windows version, close the Font selector window once)
Depending on setting, layout may be disarranged.
To improve visual, try to use similar size font.
